Whittlins 'n Wood Blog

Commissions are a large part of what I carve. In the past I have always uploaded pictures to online photo albums to keep clients updated on the progress of their carvings.
That has worked fairly well, but I have now started a blog specifically for that purpose,
and I am MUCH happier with that. I recently completed a life size Maine Coon Cat carving and "blogged" the progress. You can see it at

New England Wood Carvers Meeting. April 5, 2009

It was an honor to be asked to speak at the April meeting of New England Wood Carvers. The theme of my talk revolved around the "Carving From the Heart" articles I had written for Carving Magazine. I want to thank the NEWC membership for the invitation. I definitley enjoyed being there, seeing some old friend and meeting new ones.
